I once knew a notoriously picky eater who always ordered her steaks medium well. One day an incompetent waiter delivered her fillet medium. When she opened her mind (and her mouth) wide enough to forgive this "mistake", the course of her cosmic cuisine destiny was altered forever.
Today I am struck full force by the charm of life's wrong turns, maybe because today is my last day as a paralegal. I never envisioned myself working for attorneys and certainly never envisioned this job provoking the mildly embarrassing redaction of my promise never to open another text book again. Never say never, especially regarding graduate school.
If striving for perfection will drive you bananas, will embracing imperfection yield yummy banana nut bread?
