Buh-bye, bare legs
So long, short sleeves
Make way for flannel,
And thicker weaves
More substantial necks
Both turtle and cowl
Will keep us warm
When the weather's fowl
Tights and leggings:
Patterned, footless, basic black
Pull out your sweaters
'Cause winter's back
Embrace your mittens
Find your faux fur
Dig up your down
And resist the brrrrr!
love your poem! makes me excited for winter...oh and I feel like I need to go shopping!
ReplyDeleteI LOVE THIS POEM! i have been searching for a flannel shirt and would recommend the one Julie purchased to anyone other beanpoles - it's from the polo outlet and has a ruffle @ the neck. tres cute!!
ReplyDeletealso - does "fowl" weather mean more ducks are in the air? bc if so then I think duck's unlimited is doing a good job and we should all join so they use our continued support...
i love Cali and Ms. L!
