The facts.

1. Short hair with great texture but a mostly unreliable wave by definition MUST be blowdryed every time it has been washed, assuming of course the owner of said hair wishes to appear presentable. 

2. Expensive, salon-grade hair dryers that are used approximately every other day should last more than 1.42 years.

3. When one plugs in a beloved hair-miracle working device, one expects to hear the soft lull of warm, ionized air blasting through the concentrated nozzle but never, ever is one prepared for the sight and smell of blue smoke.

4. Monday morning is the worst of all mornings to witness the demise of an electrical necessity.

5. The aforementioned blue smoke smells TERRIBLE.
